Having said that, I'd rather have an 'oxymoron' than some
of the other morons around here! My neighbour
provided "music" for the whole carnival weekend. No
one asked him to.....No one wanted him to...but still you
could hear it as far as Feckenham

I am getting quotes for Public Liability Insurance for
working freelance as an art practitioner and I'm thinking
Public Liability Insurance would probably be a good
thing for me to have on a personal basis anyway! Let
alone for business reasons!

The latest 'Soul Portrait' I've done for someone. They are
non- literal / surreal portraits of people which I create
following a period of meditation on a photograph of
them. Acrylic / Mixed media on canvas! It is a scan of a
photo so it’s not a very good representation, it doesn't
really do it justice in terms of the colour or texture or
detail. (Apart from that it looks exactly like it!?...). If you
would like me to do a Soul Portrait for you let me know.
They are £85 each for approx. 16"x20" canvas (Acrylic /
Mixed Media). You can send me a photo through the

I have just had the horrible misfortune to have to go into
Redditch town centre where I saw women paying to have
their eyebrows removed with bits of string in the midst
of passing pedestrians in the middle of the shopping
mall. One 'eye brow removal assistant' even spat on her
