materials etc. I'm doing a free session 3pm ‘til 5pm at
Astwood Bank 1st School on 18th June then hope to try
and get paid bookings striking a balance between
covering my costs but being affordable enough for
people to access the service?...let’s see how it goes
Selling a few samples of work created by participants in
some of my previous Advocacy Thru Art workshops.
The workshops enabled Autistic, Sensory Impaired and
physically and Learning Disabled people to express
themselves and communicate through art. I'm planning
to start running art sessions again in the near future....

Thank you so much for your kind words and your
encouragement. I went for about 18 months hardly
putting pencil to paper at all for fear of how crap the
results would be! I'm getting back into it now though. I've
been doing some spiritual and counselling type work
around my confidence and creativity and it seems to have
worked a bit ‘cos I'm getting back into it more now. I
really want to try so hard to make a success of it.

The painting of the Neville is acrylic on board. I chose to
depict the pub in the evening to help show its cosy,
intimate feel. I've tried to give a sense of the 'warmth' by
showing the windows lit up inside. I had a photo of the
brick part of the building to work from but not the white
part so; as you've probably noticed the white part isn't
entirely accurate. I might try and crop the white part out
with a frame - if and when I can afford one.....
