Manic-Depression cont.: Q: Wot does the 'Manic' bit
mean? A: It's the polar opposite of depression (hence the
term Bi-Polar) It's like being Jim Carey in 'The Mask' "
"Somebody STOP Meeeee!!" or Jim Carey in 'Bruce
Almighty' or, well, just Jim Carey! Ur thoughts are genius
& atomic - one thought sparks 10 more thoughts & each
10th thought sparks 10 more & so on until you can't
work out how many are going to St Ives!
If U can't get it all out fast enough, the pressure starts to
hurt so U just grab the nearest sharp object & release it
that way. There's no time 4 eating or sleeping & no time
for anyone who can't keep up. You just leave them
behind in a trail of smouldering destruction amongst
broken glass and the distant toll of police sirens.... Then
eventually you come down & C the aftermath under a
pile of obscene credit card bills!
Well I was going for 'explanatory' but I guess intriguing is
better than boring. I don't know if I'm helping people
understand what Manic Depression is or confusing
people even more. Maybe both at the same time - that
would be apt

I just got a little bubble pop up on my home page saying
'your friend needs help' That's all well and good but as we
say on the psych ward, it only takes one shrink to change
a light bulb but the light bulbs really got to want to
change.
