Only I could manage to still look melancholy in a sunny,
flower filled Mid-Summer meadow. Shall we have this
one?

18 August 2014 —
WHAT HAPPENS TO PEOPLE AS THEY GROW
OLDER? The neighbourhood children notice when I’m
ill and send me flowers and cards and letters with the
most amazing things written in them like "Keep calm and
carry on painting" or "We love your mystical ways"
Today, they all rehearsed a show to do for me, which they
said I could watch through the window from the comfort
of my bedroom! Sometimes I get more empathy and
compassion from a group of children than from a lot of
adults I encounter.
