like virus, aching and painful all over and shivering. Now
my "New Boob" has started to feel a bit swollen and got
a bit of a red patch. I don’t know if it’s just cos I’ve been
pretty much lay down for 2 days or cos I’m not well or
something to panic about?

I know lots of ladies have similar symptoms when the
implant starts to get encapsulated inside the breast - so
maybe it’s just that - or maybe an infection of some kind.
I’m feeling a lot better in myself. The questions on the
111 online "Symptom Identifier" didn’t even ask
WHERE the skin was red or whether you’d recently had
surgery lol

Back in the hospital Aaaaargh! They think I either have a
virus which is attacking the implant and making it all
inflamed. If so, antibiotics which they have me on thru a
drip should clear it. OR it could be the actual implant
that’s infected and would have to be removed which will
be a right pain. Please God let the antibiotics work

Back on ward 18 where I had my original op done! Hoping
it’s just a virus that’s inflamed my implant. Being
observed and plied with antibiotics IV. If that does the
trick then great, if not it might be an infected implant
which means it’ll have to be removed. The opening
words of the 1st nurse I saw when I got on this ward
were "Does your bottom feel ok?" Not a traditional ice
breaker! And to be honest I’m thinking no I’m having a
right pain in the arse!
