December! How did THAT happen?! Well, my idea of
starting to make Christmas crafts in August hasn’t worked
- I’ve still sold them faster than I can create them. I think
the plan will have to be to make Christmas items all
throughout the year. Then I’ll be finishing the antique
music wreath. Once I’ve got my head round today I will
know whether I can manage to have a little "OPEN
EVENING" here on Friday to show n sell Arts, Crafts
Loads of Clothes & Vintage but mostly to have a glass
of wine n a catch up lol......

"Royal Jelly" Mixed Media on Canvas SOLD
This unusual piece has found its ideal home and perfect
owner this week. A captivating female dripping in honey
and dotted with bees. I created this piece to illustrate the
positive, creative, life giving side of feminine strength and
power. Often women are depicted as "strong" by being
shown as destructive characters; warriors, super heroines
who fight and kill....but I wanted to show a strength that
is constructive rather than destructive and that’s how this
painting was inspired. I have just a couple of paintings
left now and I’m really looking forward to creating a
fresh, new body of art work in the New Year. . . . .
