The Revolution of Imam Hussein
Imam Hussein (as) fought as much as was necessary
in self-defense. He performed his duty to Allah, His
Messenger, the religion of Islam and to humanity so well,
no one else could do so in such a situation. He faced a
flood of arrows and swords and never turned his back to
the enemy. The front of his body was heavily wounded in
various places (9). The hero could not stay any longer on
the back of his horse. The warrior for the sake of Allah,
His Messenger and His religion reached the ground and
the enemy surrounded him from all sides. The right was
pierced with spears, the truth was slaughtered by swords,
and humanity was severed and raised on a spearhead
(10). The body and the message of love and salvation
were trampled under the hooves of the horses.
They wanted to remove Imam Hussein (as) from their
way but the right path of Imam Hussein (as) which was
the right path of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and
Muhammad (p) could never be removed. He revived the
Messages of the Messengers of Allah throughout history
and narrated to us on the land of Karbala the stories of
their lives and the burdens they carried to convey the
Messages of Allah to mankind to set them on the right
path.
