Because the range is based on the material’s testing procedure, going outside of the range means using
data that was not tested for. The simulation will then be required to extrapolate the material data to the
new temperature values, which may not be consistent with the data included in the proper range.
It is highly recommended to stay within the specified range, but if necessary, to go outside of this range,
be aware of the inherent limitation.
2.4.5 Computation parameters
The “Computation Parameters” are used to adjust the computational settings in simulation. These
settings are typically the same for all simulations, but there are a few settings that may be changed based
on user preference.
2.4.5.1 Particle tracer
The particle tracer allows the user to visualize flow patterns and tendencies from a point object
perspective.
