Ingredients:


                     • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
                     • 1 cup all-purpose flour
                     • 1 tablespoon baking powder
                     • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
                     • 1 teaspoon salt
                     • 1 cup whole milk
                     • 3 large eggs
                     • 1/2 stick butter, melted
                     • 1/4 cup honey
                     • 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
                     • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil or butter
                     • 2/3 cup buttermilk
                     • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
                     • 1 1/2 teaspoons red food coloring


                 Preparation:


                     1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
                     2. Into a large bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and
                        salt.
                     3. In another bowl, whisk together the whole milk, 2 eggs, ½ stick of
                        butter, and honey.
                     4. Add the wet to the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
                     5. Mix the cocoa powder, oil, buttermilk, vanilla, red food coloring and
                        egg in a medium mixing bowl and add to cornbread mixture. Stir
                        until smooth.
