                                                           ABOUT RTO




                  Let’s start with walking through the front door, just like you did this morning. We understand that there
                  are some misconceptions and preconceptions of RTO. Surely you had an opinion of RTO; maybe it was
                  right, or maybe it was wrong. Take some time to write down your first idea of what RTO was or how it

                  RAC specifically works hard to change RTO misconceptions, because we have been number one in
                  the industry for decades! Read these stories from other coworkers as they dealt with RTO myths
                  and misconceptions while they worked. They might just be what you need to help our customers
                  understand how we work and what our value truly is.


                                                        I found the TV the customer
                                                needed, but his eyes just about popped out
                                            of his head when he saw the total price. He scowled
                                        and said, “WOW! I had heard that [RTO] was expensive, but
                                     that’s PROOF!” I wasn’t offended, because the final price is higher      (
                                       than the big box retailer down the street, but when I explained
                                              (
                                      that he had three ways to buy with the Rent-A-Center Flex Plan;
                                        1-Buy it Now for the Low Cash Price, 2-Get 90 Days Same As
                                            Cash or 3-Get a Worry-Free Payment Option—he was
                                                  completely sold. He loved the flexibility!

                                                                      I had a customer tell me there
                                                              was no way they could get credit for our stuff,
                                                         after she and I walked all around the washers and finally
                                                       found the one that fit her needs best. When I told her that we
                                                     don’t do a credit check, she looked confused. I explained that she
                                                     only needed to complete a simple Rental Order Form and that no
                                                       credit is needed. She was really excited! The weekly price was
                                                        perfect for her, and she said she was going to tell everyone
                                                                 on her block that she got her new washer
                                                                 at Rent-A-Center and no longer had to go
