METHOD
12. Tare a fluted amber bottle.
13. Weigh materials (solid).
14. Measure benzalkonium Cl 50 mL
15. Add 50 mL benzalkonium Cl to the solution and mix well.
16. Use warm water to dissolve boric acid.
17. Add boric acid solution to the solution and stir until dissolve.
18. Add water to 100 mL and mix well
19. Filter solution using sintered glass filter no 3.
20. Check particles using Allen viewer
21. Transfer the tared bottle and close the bottle
22. Sterilise the preparation by autoclaving at temp 121 - 123°C, pressure 1.05 kgf/cm and

time 15 min or heating with bactericide at 98 – 100 °C for 30 min
