Abstrak: During the COVID-19 pandemic, learning is still done online. UIN Sultan
Maulana Hasanuddin (SMH) Banten gave an appeal to lecturers to make learning
innovations to reduce boredom and boredom for students. This effort can be done by
applying the interactive learning model as an independent learning paradigm. The
research objectives (1) are to find out and analyze how the lecturers apply the interactive
learning model as an independent learning paradigm; (2) to find out and analyze the
obstacles faced by supporting lecturers in applying the interactive learning model as an
independent learning paradigm. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of
case study. The research subjects are lecturers and students. The research location is in
the Department of PBA FTK UIN SMH Banten. Data collection techniques are
observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data
reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study, (1)
Students are more enthusiastic in participating in online learning when the lecturer
applies an interactive learning model because it can reduce boredom and boredom as an
independent learning paradigm so that students feel learning is fun without excessive
burden during the Covid-19 pandemic. (2) Obstacles of supporting lecturers in
implementing interactive learning models include first, students are easily bored when
learning online. Second, limited internet network access. Third, time is limited. Fourth,
student characteristics. Suggestions that can be given are that stakeholders pay more
attention to student progress and support in supporting online learning.
