INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
Chapter 9 Optional “Add-On” Items
Bug Spray Applicator
1) Mount the Pulsatron™ pump assembly to equipment side wall that will have the chemical drums and the other
pumps mounted to it. If this is an existing site, mount the pump assembly to the same wall that the other pump
assemblies are mounted to. Please keep in mind though that wherever the pump is mounted, the Asco™ valve
assembly needs to be mounted above the pump assembly. If it is not possible to mount it in the same area, then
mount the pump in an area that is clear of the side wheels when they are spinning.

2) The 3/8” poly flow line that will feed the chemical from the pump assembly to the Asco™ valve assembly is not
provided. The lines that are provided are the suction line with the foot valve and the priming line, which are both 7
ft. in length. Drop these two lines into the Bug Spray Applicator chemical drum. Then run the field supplied poly
flow line from the top of the Pulsatron™ pump to the chemical injector on the Asco™ valve assembly.
If you have a VPS System, move directly to step 5.
3) Take the Bug Spray Applicator nipple and slide it trough the treadle, do this by sliding the straight hose barb from
the center of the bay toward the driver’s side wall. Slide the nipple all the way through the treadle until the barbed
hose elbow is near the edge of the treadle plate. Anchor the nipple to the floor with the supplied floor lags, and
clamp it to the treadle plate with the supplied clamp. Make sure the elbow is pointing toward the exit of the bay.
