INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
Chapter 9 Optional “Add-On” Items
Triple Foam Option for Pulsatron Pump System
7) Located on the same carriage c-channel on the exit side is the 8-port electrical junction block. This is where
the ASCO valve will be wired to. In the accessory box is the supplied electrical cable (1ELECT-CB886).
Screw and tighten the din connector to the Asco valve and connect the other end of the cable to port #1 on
the junction block.
8) Shipped in the accessory box is 24 ft. of 6 color bundled airline (1AIRLN006). Cut the length into two 12 ft.
pieces. On the exit side of the triple foam manifold is the six 1/4” swivel Y-fittings that will feed the driver and
passenger side triple foam pods. Follow the decal that is on the c-channel for the proper color configuration.
Starting with the Y-fitting closest to the passenger side you will insert the colored airlines in order as follows.
Red, blue, green, purple, and yellow. Run the 12 ft. lengths to both sides through the hole in the carriage side
plates.
Note: As you have probably already noticed, the triple foam feed manifold is more justified to the
passenger side of the machine. Even though it is closer to the passenger side of the
machine, the 6 color bundled airline runs still need to be the same length in order to keep
the triple foam product properly balanced.
9) Now starting with the driver side, locate the driver side triple foam pod assembly (108156), the 3/8-16 x 1”
socket head fastener (1FSTNR-SH738), and the 3/8-16 regular nut (1NUT-RG469) from the accessory box
and then open the driver side pod cover. Mount the triple foam pod on to your single foam pod by placing the
pivot spacer into the hole on the single foam pod. While holding it in place use the fastener and nut to mount
the pods together and tighten completely. Refer to the pictures for reference.
10) Once the pods are together you can insert the 6-color bundled airline into the correct air and water fittings on
the pod. Refer to the pictures for the proper color sequence of the airlines and what fittings they will be
inserted into.
11) Repeat steps 8 and 9 for the passenger side triple foam pod assembly.
12) Inside of the driver side pod is an angle that is welded on to the entrance pod front plate. On this angle are
the two holes that will be used to mount the pressure regulator and the gauge. The hole closest to the
outside of the machine is for the 100 PSI gauge (1GAUGE500) and the other hole is for the mini regulator
(1RGLTR175). Place the gauge through its hole from the bottom and on the top side use the bracket and nut
to secure it to the angle. The regulator will be placed through the top of the angle and tightened with the
plastic nut on the bottom side. Note the direction of the arrow that is on the regulator. Connect the supplied
green 5/32” airline (1AIRLN055) from the elbow on the gauge to the elbow on the regulator. Refer to the
pictures for further assistance.
13) Connect the supplied 1/2” x 113” clear airline (1AIRLN853) from the out feed of the regulator to the 1/2”
swivel elbow fitting that is on the right side of the triple foam feed block. Refer to the pictures for proper
routing instructions.
