Triple Foam Option for MixStir® Pump System

5) Now starting with the driver side, locate the driver side triple foam pod assembly (108156), the 3/8-16 x 1”
socket head fastener (1FSTNR-SH738), and the 3/8-16 regular nut (1NUT-RG469) from the accessory box
and then open the driver side pod cover. Mount the triple foam pod on to your single foam pod by placing the
pivot spacer into the hole on the single foam pod. While holding it in place use the fastener and nut to mount
the pods together and tighten completely. Refer to the pictures for reference.
6) Once the pods are together you can insert the 6-color bundled airline into the correct air and water fittings on
the pod. Refer to the pictures for the proper color sequence of the airlines and what fittings they will be
inserted into.
7) Repeat steps 8 and 9 for the passenger side triple foam pod assembly.
8) Inside of the driver side pod is an angle that is welded on to the entrance pod front plate. On this angle are
the two holes that will be used to mount the pressure regulator and the gauge. The hole closest to the
outside of the machine is for the 100 PSI gauge (1GAUGE500) and the other hole is for the mini regulator
(1RGLTR175). Place the gauge through its hole from the bottom and on the top side use the bracket and nut
to secure it to the angle. The regulator will be placed through the top of the angle and tightened with the
plastic nut on the bottom side. Note the direction of the arrow that is on the regulator. Connect the supplied
green 5/32” airline (1AIRLN055) from the elbow on the gauge to the elbow on the regulator. Refer to the
pictures for further assistance.
9) Connect the supplied 1/2” x 113” clear airline (1AIRLN853) from the out feed of the regulator to the 1/2”
straight fitting that is on the right side of the triple foam feed manifold. Refer to the pictures for proper routing
instructions.
10) Next will be to install the main pneumatic hookups. Inside the driver side pod and on the side of the carriage
plate is the 3-port pneumatic stack. It is located on the right end of the din rail. On the standard machine a
soap foamer valve is already in place on the left end of the 3-port valve. The first thing to do before mounting
the valve is to tighten the supplied 1/8” NPT x 3/8” tube elbow (1ELBOW-PL250) into the valve. The elbow is
supplied with Teflon® tape which is only needed here. Next to the soap foamer valve you will mount the
supplied valve mount kit (1VALVE-PN332) first to the din rail and then the supplied single valve to that
(1VALVE-PN331). Refer to the pictures for more assistance.
