            INSTALLATION AND STARTUP

            Chapter 9 Optional “Add-On” Items

            Drying Agent

If you have purchased the Drying Agent Option and are installing it onto an existing FreeStyler
machine, please follow these steps carefully.

                   1) Jog the carriage back to the center of the rails to give clearance from the L-brackets and head beams when opening the
                       covers.
                   2) Push in the E-Stop button so the carriage does not try to home itself.
                   3) Turn the main air supply down to zero to allow the top wheel to lower itself to make room to work.
                   4) Open the exit utility cover and locate the all purpose manifold shown in the picture.
                   5) The port where the injector valve is located is shown in the picture, remove the brass plug located in this Sealer Wax port
and replace it with the 1/2’’ NPT chemical injector valve (1VALVE-WA180). Be sure to apply Teflon tape to the threads
                       before tightening down this manifold.
                   6) Purchased with the Sealer Wax option is a Pulsatron® Pump assembly (108077). This will be mounted directly to your
equipment side wall, preferably just above the Sealer Wax chemical drum. The mounting fasteners for the pumps and the
3/8’’ chemical line that will run through the boom to the chemical injector is not supplied.

                   7) The pump is supplied with the cord grip and washers that will go to the electrical connection box for the wiring. Once
mounted, run the two supplied 3/8’’ x 7 ft. tubing from the pump to inside the chemical drum. One line is the main feed
and the other is for priming. Refer to the pictures for proper routing and instructions.
                   8) Run your 3/8’’ chemical line from the top of the pump, through both booms, and then to the carriage bulkhead utility plate.
Now from the opposite side of the utility plate, run another piece of 3/8’’ line from the same bulkhead to the chemical
injector valve that was previously tightened into the manifold.
                   9) Consult your chemical supplier for proper titration of your Sealer Wax chemical.
                   10) Pull out the E-stop, shut the exit utility cover and run a test vehicle.
