Chapter 9 Optional “Add-On” Items

Triple Foam Option for Pulsatron Pump System

If you have purchased the Triple Foam Option and are installing it onto an existing FressStyler®
machine, please follow these steps carefully.

1) For safety precautions, push in the E-Stop before you begin to work on the machine.
2) First step will be to mount the FressStyler® Tri-Foam Manifold Assembly (108150) to the carriage. Open the
exit utility cover to get to the c-channel that currently holds all of the other main water manifolds. Refer to the
pictures for the proper location and positioning of the manifold. Gather the four 1/4-20 x 2” fasteners
(1FSTNR-HH116) and the four 1/4” lock washers from the accessory box. Place a lock washer onto each
fastener and start each one into the shown holes. Tighten down completely once they are all started.
3) On that same c-channel is the all purpose aluminum manifold that will hold the 1/2” ASCO valve that will
supply your water. In the third port from the left on the all purpose manifold is a 1/2” brass plug. Remove this
plug and replace it with the supplied 1/2” NPT x 1/2” FJIC swivel fitting (1MCONC-BR745). Be sure to apply
liquid Teflon® to all of the threaded parts before placing them in position.
4) Locate the 1/2” ASCO water valve (1VALVE-WA276) and identify the IN and OUT ports. Tighten the 1/2”
NPT x 1/2” MJIC fitting (1MCONC-BR710) into the IN port and then tighten the 1/2” NPT x 1/2” tube swivel
elbow adapter (1ELBOW-PL900) into the OUT port. Tighten the Asco valve to the swivel fitting in the
manifold now and be sure that the din connector on the valve is facing towards the exit of the machine.

5) Supplied in the accessory box are two 1/2” stem elbows. Push both of these in to the supplied 3-way divider
as shown. Run the supplied 1/2” x 37-1/2” clear airline (1AIRLN853) from the swivel elbow in the valve to the
elbow that is in the 3-way divider. The 3-way divider fitting will be placed in the utility trough on the passenger
side of the machine. Refer to the pictures for the proper location of the 3-way divider fitting.
6) You can now hook up the three supplied, 3/8 clear airlines from the 3-way divider to the elbows that are
tightened in to the plastic gate valves. The lengths are 8-1/8”, 10”, and 13-1/4”.
