INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
Chapter 9 Optional “Add-On” Items
HydroBlade® Option
Installation
1) Mounted on the exit side of the machine, inside of the upper manifold cabinet are two manifolds. The upper
manifold is the HydroBlade® Water Feed Manifold. The lower manifold is the Wheel Cleaner Water Feed
Manifold as shown in assembly below.

Manifold
Upper Wheel Water Feed Manifold
Connected to these manifolds are four 49” hydraulic hoses (2
for each manifold) that will connect to the bulkheads that are
tightened into the upper plate of the side spray manifolds.
From the Wheel Cleaner Water Manifold, connect the two
hoses to the entrance side bulkhead. Run the other 2 hoses
from the upper HydroBlade® Water Feed Manifold to the exit
side bulkhead. Make sure both ends of all hoses are tightened
down completely. When completed it should look like the Bulkheads (typical)
image below.
2) Located inside of the upper utility cabinet is a channel which is used to mount all
of the water valves and manifold blocks. On the upper inside part of this channel
is the Lexair™ Manifold. This manifold must be mounted onto the channel on
the opposite side of the machine that the Boom mounts to. For example, if the
Boom is mounted to the driver side wall, then this manifold must be mounted
onto the passenger side of the machine. The machine ships with this manifold
mounted as if there is a driver side Boom. This is how all the Boom lines are run
as well. If there is a passenger side Boom, this manifold as well as all the lines
must be switched (see the “Mounting the Boom” section of this document). Lexair™ Manifold
