After hooking up all of the air connections verify that the extend and tilt functions are working
properly for both the driver and passenger side SideWinder® assemblies.

                                                                                             Retract Valve
                                                                            Main Air Supply
                                                                              90-PSI minimum
                                                                             120-PSI maximum
                       1) Extend both driver and passenger side SideWinders® and adjust the Extend Pressure
Regulators on the Lower Cylinder Air Panels to an initial setting of 25 psi and on the Upper
Cylinder Air Panels to an initial setting of 32 psi. Make adjustments as necessary.

Note: Too much pressure will cause improper cleaning and may cause damage to vehicles.
Ideally no more than 2” of foam penetration on the vehicle’s side surface.

                       2) If the Upper Hub tilt function is not working properly either not tilting down fully or is responding
slowly first verify that the extend airline for the Upper Cylinder is connected properly. If this does
not correct the problem slightly loosen the bolt/nut that holds the back of the tilt cylinder to the
                           Upper Arm.

                       3) Set Retract Pressure so unit gets out of the way fast enough without slamming. Additional fine
tuning of air circuits can be achieved by using flow controls on the air valve, refer to the image
above. Start with Flow Controls set wide open.
