HYDRO HYBRID™
Startup
The next few pages of this manual will go through flushing out the lines from the Pumping Station
through the nozzle ports. This will help keep the nozzles from clogging during the initial startup. It will
then go through installing the nozzles, manifold adjustments and maintenance. These steps will help
keep your system running properly.
Nozzles
Middle Manifold
Note: Nozzles shown may not match the nozzles included in your
purchase. Installation is the same for all nozzles.
Installation
In some cases, the equipment ships with the nozzles in place. If they are not, follow the instructions below for
placement.
®
Note: Nozzles require a water sealant. We recommend using a paste type instead of Teflon tape.
®
We have found that Teflon tape sometimes clog the nozzles with smaller orifices. Water
sealant not supplied by Belanger, Inc.
1) Locate the supplied nozzles and prepare them with a field supplied water sealant.
2) Secure them to the manifolds as shown.
Side Manifolds
The upper manifold uses a single nozzle and a plug. The nozzles should be installed on the entrance side of the
manifold.
Overhead Manifolds
There are three overhead nozzle manifolds. The two outside manifolds (left and right) use a single nozzle and a
plug. The center manifold uses two nozzles. The single nozzles should be installed on the outside of the manifold.
