Installation
Titan Pump Station
1) Secure the 3” Flap Valve / Strainer Assembly to the suction line in the tank. Make sure the
“arrow side” faces up (see Typical Settling Tank” drawing earlier in this document).
2) Place the pump station in a suitable location with access to the suction line from tank.
3) Drill and lag pump station base with (4) supplied 1/2” lag bolts.
4) Locate the provided Filter Drain Sight Tube in the accessory box. Secure it into place. Be sure to
tighten it from its base so not to crack the plastic pieces.

5) Tighten the 1-1/2” (3801 mm) and the 2” unions located on the pumping unit. They sometimes
relax during shipping.

6) Fill suction lines with water.
7) Connect 2” minimum diameter suction line to inlet on small pump.
Note: Suction and discharge hoses should be 18” minimum above pump base. This will create a
water trap to maintain water in the pump system at all times.
8) Attach the supplied 3”Flap Valve and Strainer to the suction line from the tank.
9) Connect 2” discharge line from tunnel to outlet on large pump.
