January 5. Went to school. After school fooled around. After
supper went to basketball game. Routt vs. Spaulding. We lost.
January 6. Went over to Poochie’s in afternoon. In morning
Poochie came over. John left. He went back to school [the semi-
nary]. Went uptown in evening.

January 7. Went to Church and Communion. After dinner
Gloria and Angela came down. We played cards and went to show
in night, Midshipman Jack.

January 8. Went to school. After school we had Glee Club.
Went to see Charles after school. After supper I studied.

January 9. Went to school as usual. After school I went to the
show with Margaret Cain and saw Little Women. Studied at night.

January 10. Went to school again. After school we had Glee
Club. I wanted Gloria to stay all nite but she couldn’t. Dorothy
came over.

January 11. Went to school. After school I went over at Char-
lie’s. After supper I studied and played a couple games of cards.

January 12. Went to school as usual. After school went to the
store. After supper there was a b.b. [basketball] game. Routt vs.
Barry. We won. I didn’t go. It was raining.

January 13. Went to store and looked around in morning.
After dinner went uptown. After supper went to b.b. game (Routt
vs. Springfield, we lost) with Gloria and Jean. Carl asked me to go
to the dance and party.

January 14. Went to Church. After dinner, went up to Gloria’s.
Margaret and Jean were down there. I stayed all night. So did Jean.
After supper, Carl Reif and Frank Wiedlocker came down.

January 15 Went to school. After school we had Glee Club.
