86. Wrote History in afternoon. Got 92. In evening studied for
geometry test.

January 26. Went to school. Wrote Geometry test. Haven’t got
my grade yet. In afternoon went down to Gloria’s. We went down
to school. Went riding uptown in Irene’s car.

January 27. Fooled around. Our gas stove got on fire. Called
the fire department. Went skating with Poochie in afternoon. Went

January 28. Went to Church. Read the funnies. Ate dinner.
After dinner I went to Gloria’s. We went riding. After supper
Stephanie came over.

January 29. Didn’t go to school in morning. Too cold. After
dinner I went to school. After school came right home. After sup-
per I studied my English and Latin.

January 30. Went to school. After school came home. After
supper I studied and played cards with Catherine and Loretta. They
came over for awhile. Went to bed.

January 31. Went to school as usual. Looked in some of the
stores after school. After supper I studied and went to bed.

February 1. Went to school again. After school Gloria and I
went uptown. Came home, went to the store. After supper I studied
and went to bed.

February 2. Went to school and brought my dinner. Went
uptown at noon with Maggie. After school went over to Charlie’s.
Gloria came down after supper and we made candy.
February 3. [Brother Jim’s 21st birthday ] Went to school. I’ll
