After supper, I stayed home and studied. After I studied, I went
to bed.
January 16. Went to school. After school I went to see Charlie.
After supper I stayed home and studied, then went to bed.

January 17. Went to school in morning. I stayed home in af-
ternoon. Got a semi-formal and new pair of shoes for dance. Went
to dance and party. Had lots of fun.

January 18. Went to school. After school played with Charles.
After supper I stayed home and studied. Had geometry test next day.
January 19. Went to school as usual. After school we had Glee
Club. Virginia Smith called me up and asked us to go to party.
Went to b.b. game, Routt vs. Cath. They won.

January 20. Fooled around in morning. Went up to Gloria’s in
afternoon. We went uptown. Went to party at Va. Smith’s house.
“I won booby prize.” Gloria, Angela, Dorothy, M. Eliz, Norine,
Virginia S, G, & R.

January 21. Went to Church. M. Pat. came down and spent
the day. Poochie came over. Norine, M. Eliz, Dorothy, Virginia S.
and I went walking and went to Ferry’s, played bridge in evening.

January 22. Went to school as usual. After school had a Glee
Club business meeting. I didn’t go. Went to see Charlie. Studied
in evening.

January 23. (Norine’s 18th birthday) Went to school again.
After school I went uptown with Gloria to get Norine’s present.
Norine [only sister] had a birthday party. We had lots of fun.

January 24. Went to school. Semester began. I wrote English
in morning. Got 94. In the afternoon didn’t have to go. Jean came
down to dinner. We helped Sister Roberta in afternoon.
