February 13. Went to school again. Gave out some comical
Valentines. After school came home. Gloria stayed all nite. We
studied and went to bed.

February 14. Ash Wednesday. Beginning of Lent. Gloria and
I got up at 5:30 and went to Church. Ate breakfast at her house.
Went to school. Went to Church at nite.

February 15. Went to school as usual. After school went to
Church and said “Stations of the Cross.” Gloria took me a piece
home. Studied at nite at home.

February 16. Went to school again. After school for Lent said
the “Stations” at Church. Went to Church at nite with Gloria.
Went to basketball game. We beat.

February 17. Went down to play basketball with Gloria at
Liberty Hall. Went down to Gloria’s after supper. Made candy,
stayed all nite with Gloria.

February 18. Gloria and I went to 8:30 Mass. Ate breakfast
there. It snowed. Gloria ate dinner down at our house. After dinner
we made candy. Went to Church.

February 19. Went to school again. Had Glee Club after school.
I went to Church after school. After supper I studied my lessons.

February 20. Went to school. After school came home. Gloria
took me a piece home. After supper Mamma, Harold and I went
to show and saw Mert and Marge. It was swell. Joe [Pedrucci] got
my World’s Fair bracelet. He wears it all the time. Looks cute on
him. He’s cute anyhow.

February 21. Went to school as usual. After school had Glee
Club. I ate supper with Gloria and then we went to Church.

February 22. Went to school. After school came home with
