Shorten-Lengthen

Shorten-Lengthen function justifies the bay length to next standard bay length.

You are prompted to select two toe boards. Always select the left bay first, then the right bay. A
dialog for selecting new length appears.

The function will try to keep the total length of the scaffold constant. When selecting new length of
the 1’st bay, the 2’nd bay length is automatic changed to corresponding length. If 2’nd length is not
supported, the nearest length will show in red. The difference in length is showed and you are
prompted what to do.

Move standards at right end side – When selected, the base plates and standards will be moved to
the changed end on the right side.
Move bays in between …. - Uncheck if you don’t want the bays between the two selected bays to
move according the new length of the 1’st bay.

Change 2’nd bay length …. - Uncheck if you don’t want the 2’nd length to be changed. Mind, you can
also change the 2’nd bay length of own choice. When unchecking this or the Move Bays option, the
option of moving base elements at right side will be unabled.
