Task – Project Start-up

Purpose: to understand how projects are started up in Revit.

1. Since this is an architectural project, there is
no reason to have the tools for Revit
Structure and Revit MEP turned on.
Turn off the tabs, go to:

File Tab ► Options ► User Interface

2. Then remove the check mark for Revit
Structure and Revit MEP:

3. Create new project from template

”Revit Architecture 2018 Kursus.rte”

File Tab ► New ► Project

4. Save project as

”Kursusprojekt_ < initials>”:

File Tab ► Save As ► Project
