EXERCISE

Exercise

The basis for the upcoming course exercise is a conceptual design of an office building.
The building is on two floors plus a smaller basement and is a total of approximately 1,300 m².
The building consists of two primary volumes:

On the one hand, an East-West oriented part of the building, built as a heavy construction of
concrete elements, containing Office and meeting facilities and, on the other hand, a North-
South oriented part of the building, built as light construction with larger façades, containing
foyer, toilet cores, staircase and a extended canteen supported by columns.

In addition, there is a basement, containing bath and WC facilities, depot, gym and equipment
rooms.
