Top 20

DOBERMANN

The inaugural Dobermann Top 20 special competition
was held on the 21st February 1997. The three
judges, the names kept secret until the night, were
Raymond Beattie Margret Woodward and Terry
Nethercott. Following a 3 course meal, the handlers
were ready to go at 8pm. The dogs were drawn into
eight groups of three and were then judged on a
points system out of 100, based on the American
system. After all the dogs had been judged and their
points added up by the adjudicators, Yvonne Westley
and Ros Grevitt, the winner was announced as
Champion Helmlake Phantom, owned by the Late
Karina Le Mare

After offical photos there was much dancing and a
great night was had by all.

There are too many people to mention that helped
make the night the great success that it was.
