Avocado-Lime Smoothie

Avocado might seem an odd ingredient for a smoothie, but give it a
try. You’ll find it is delightfully creamy and has a subtle flavor. Lime
is really the featured flavor in this drink. Together lime and avocado
have lots of heart-healthy monounsaturated fats and vitamin C.
Ingredient Tip: Because you are using the lime zest in this recipe,
buy organic limes if they are available.
1 avocado ¼ teaspoon lime zest
1½ cups unsweetened 1½ teaspoons honey
almond milk ¼ teaspoon pure
1½ teaspoons lime juice vanilla extract
Combine the avocado, almond milk, lime juice and zest, honey, and
vanilla in a blender. Cover and blend to the desired smoothness.
Serve immediately.
