               TIME OFF WORK AND HOLIDAYS





               Annual Vacation

               All employees are entitled to full paid annual leave as follows:

               Upon completion of one or two years of service with National Paints, depending on the management discretion, all
               concern employees shall be eligible to avail annual leave. In case the employee is terminated, he/she shall receive an
               annual leave payment in respect of fractions of the last year.

               For Labors staff, 50 days leave shall be granted to them in every two (2) years’ of services.

               Public holiday that falls within annual leave the employee may extend his/her leave period according to the number
               of full paid public holiday.

               National Paints management has the right to schedule the annual leave according to annual leave plan subject to
               discussion with the departmental heads and their subordinates.


               Types of Leave



               Sick Leave

               Employees who fall sick for reasons other than labor injury must report their illness within two days and present a
               valid sick leave certificate obtained from an authorized medical authority to the Human Resource Department. After
               successful completion of probationary period, the employee is granted the following pay for sick leave:

                          a)  First fifteen days with full pay.
                          b)  The next thirty days with half pay.
                          c)  The subsequent period without pay.

               However, payment during sick leave is denied by the company if the sickness resulted from misbehavior of the
               employee (E.g. consumption of alcohol).


               Maternity Leave


               A female employee whose service is more than one (1) year shall be entitled to forty five (45) days paid leave,
               including the period preceding and following her delivery.

               Emergency Leaves and Contingency Leaves

               Emergency Leaves and Contingency Leaves are also offered by the company. Emergency Leaves are unpaid and
               subject to the approval of management. In addition, only fifteen days of emergency leaves can be taken yearly.
