               If a recognized holiday falls during an eligible employee's paid absence (such as vacation or sick leave),
               holiday pay will be provided instead of the paid time off benefit that would otherwise have applied.

               To be eligible to use holiday time, employees must complete 90 calendar days of service in an eligible
               employment classification.

               All hourly employees who work New Year's day and Thanksgiving day will be paid at time and a half.




               307 Sick Leave Benefits

               MFC provides paid sick leave benefits to eligible employees for periods of temporary absence due to
               illnesses or injuries. Employees in the following employment classifications are eligible for sick leave:

                      * Regular full-time employees

                      * Part-time employees

               Once you are eligible, you will accrue sick leave benefits at the rate of 5 days per year (1 hour for every
               30 worked). Unused sick time from year to year will rollover as specified by AZ State Law, effective
               07/01/2017. Sick time earned prior to that is not subject to rollover. Sick leave benefits are calculated on
               the basis of a "calendar year"; January 1 to December 31.. This is the 12-month period that begins when
               you start earning sick leave.

               Paid sick leave can be used in minimum increments of one-half day. You may use sick leave benefits for
               an absence due to your own illness or injury, or that of your child, parent, or spouse.

               If you are unable to report to work due to illness or injury, you should notify your supervisor 2 hours
               before the scheduled start of your workday. Your supervisor must also be contacted on each additional
               day of absence. All employees are required to find their own coverage for absences.

                Before returning to work from a sick leave absence of 3 calendar days or more, you must provide a
               physician's verification that you may safely return to work.


               Sick leave benefits will be calculated based on your base pay rate at the time of the absence and will not
               include any special forms of compensation, such as incentives, commissions, bonuses, or shift
               differentials.

               Sick leave benefits are intended solely to provide income protection in the event of illness or injury, and
               may not be used for any other absence. You will not be paid for unused sick leave benefits either while
               you are employed or upon termination of employment.
