BOATING
A complete Boating to the whole of Punnamada lake ending at Bolgati
Place.Journey in the boat was very enthusiastic and energetic with the leadership of MLA Eldose

kunnampally. Traditional songs, old Malayalam movie songs light dance steps were the contributions of
the elderly people to make the trip a memorable one. And thus the back water waves danced with

rhythms of their soothing music .
CHERAYI BEACH.
Whatever is your age , beaches will be the most preferred place for hangouts . Every beach has

thousand stories to tell, million drops of tears to hide and zillions of smile to express . Cherayi yet
another beautiful beach of Ernakulam.It is very surprising and a mysterious fact what made these elder
people so happy there? Whether the waves or the candy sellers or the happiness was all about their

neglected freedom. They counted waves, collected shells, walked, jumped they became younger than

they thought. Dr.Praveen Pai, without whom the whole endeavour would have been in vain , inspired
them, cracked jokes and he became one among them.Since it was on the day of Diwali, with the efforts
of Dr.Pai ,Dr.Nisha , and representatives from Magics NGO lighted the beach completely with diyas. it

was an eye-catching event for tourists,locals and all those who visited the beach on that day.

Elderly people lighted diyas as a symbolic representation of the new ray of hope in their life .It turned
out be a spectacular event. New bonds were born under the luminous light , new promises were made ,
trust and cooperation was the core of the whole event.

Campus Visit
Sacred Heart College,Thevara is a premiere institution affiliated to MG university .As a step towards

making the campus first age friendly college in the nation. A college was rebuilt again, when the
students ,teachers and elders gathered under the same roof. Love was everywhere , experiences were

the teachers , memories were made , something beyond the classroom lessons were inscribed in the
minds of the students. Elderly people talked for hours about their schools , classrooms and some even

in college. Nothing better could happen when two of them from the group were ex -
heartians. Everyone was happy and at the same time nostalgic when

the lake side campus was a chance of rebuilding their
memories . ' Thannal' a tree sapling was planted on

the lake side.Thannal embarked a new
beginning to the elderly people

and the age .
