o introduce you to the many services provided by age-friendly
Earnakulam , follow along With the case study of a 67-year-old woman
Tnamed baby. Baby was found straying in the streets of Paravoor when
age friendly volunteers found her she was almost fainting because of illness
and hunger . The volunteers suddenly called the elder help-line under age
friendly Ernakulam and this service is called ELDERLINE - 0484 270 70 23 and
asked for guidance, elder line coordinator helped them to admit baby to the
general hospital and there after 5 day elder line helped her fining a
rehabilitation center in treasure now baby is happily livening in that center
cases like this are managed by elder line under age friendly Ernakulum on a day
to day basis

We connected “BABY” to the following services

Ÿ General hospital Ernakulum for initial treatment
Ÿ Akashappravakall a rehabilitation center in treasure for orphan destitute in the street
as a long term shelter home

Remember, the original reason for volunteers call was to find out about solution for the
problem faced by an orphan elderly in street. As you can see, elder line does a lot more

than just quickly answer someone's question or provide a phone number. As our name
implies, we help connect seniors to all the services they need. This exclusive service is
known an Elder line project.
