Senior Level
The senior level was defined to study participants as “The Diverse Percentage
highest level within the marketing team, likely 5–10 percent
of total.” In 2021, this level had its highest percentage of 2021 28.5%
ethnic diversity over the four-year study period.

Entry-Level Professional
The entry-level professional was defined in part as “Usually hold Diverse Percentage
junior-level professional positions that require specific skills or
college degrees.” Ethnic diversity has increased in every year 2021 33.1%
of the study.

LGBTQ and Disabilities
In answer to the question “Do your employees have the opportunity to self-identify as being either
LGBTQ or a Person with a Disability?”:
• 31 of 55 companies which answered (56 percent) provide employees the opportunity to self-identify
as being LGBTQ (versus 50 percent in the 2020 report and 58 percent in the 2019 report).
• 41 of 52 companies which answered (79 percent) provide employees the opportunity to self-identify
as being a Person with a Disability (versus 84 percent in the 2020 report and 85 percent in the
2019 report).
