ST-60 Steering System- Power Steering

2. Adding the steering fluid

a. Connect the oil return hose of the steering fluid tank to the
oil return steel tube assembly. Tighten the hose ring clamp.

b. Add steering fluid into the steering fluid tank.
c. Start the engine and keep it running at idle speed to
drive the power steering pump, making the hydraulic
system full of oil.
Caution
During running of the engine, the fluid level inside the
steering fluid tank will go down. Add in steering fluid
continuously to prevent from air ingression.

d. Rotate the steering wheel to its left and right limit positions for several times until the level of fluid inside
the fluid tank will not go down any more.
Caution
The steering wheel shall not exceed 5s at the limit to prevent breaking the steering device

e. Install the cover of the steering fluid tank.
