Steering System- Power Steering ST-61

1. Use a lift jack to lift the front axle and place a steel bench underneath, making the wheels off the ground.

2. Remove the cover of the steering fluid tank

3. Add right amount of fluid into the steering fluid tank. FR
4. Start the engine and keep it running at idle speed.

5. Rotate the steering wheel to its left and right limit EL
positions for several times until the level of fluid
inside the fluid tank will not go down any more and
no gas bubbles escape from the fluid.
Caution

With escaping of the bubbles, the fluid level inside the
tank will go down. Now more fluid shall be added into
the tank from time to time until the fluid level is stable.

6. Check if the steering fluid level meets the criteria.
7. Mount the steering fluid tank cover.

8. Turn off the engine, lift the front axle to Remove the steel bench and put the vehicle down onto the
ground .
