ST-56 Steering System- Power Steering

b. Remove the locking nut which connects the high
pressure hose of the power steering pump with the high
pressure steel tube. Remove the high pressure hose from
the power steering pump.

4. Removing the high pressure steel tube of the
steering gear and the oil return tube assembly.

a. Remove the swivel bolts of the high and low oil tube
connectors of the steering gear. Disconnect the high
pressure steel tube, oil return tube from the steering gear.
Remove the composite gaskets.

b. Remove the fixing bolts for the double tube clamp for
the high pressure steel tube and the oil return tube of the
steering gear. Remove the high pressure steel tube and
the oil return tube from the steering gear.

5. Installing the high pressure steel tube and the oil
return tube assembly from the steering gear

a. Install the high and low pressure oil tube connectors
onto the steering gear, mount the composite gasket.
Mount and tighten the swivel bolts.

b. Install the double tube clamp for the high pressure
steel tube and the oil return tube of the steering gear.
Install the fixing bolts to fix the high pressure steel tube
and oil return tube on the vehicle frame.
