1. Discharge the steering oil (refer “Chapter BW steering system-power steering-steering oil, replacement”) DI

2. Removing the oil suction hose from the power steering
pump and the oil return hose from the steering fluid tank EG

a. Dismount the straps of inlet and outlet oil hoses of
TR
steering oil tank and take off the hoses from the tank.
Caution

•When pulling out the oil pipe, makr the corresponding oil AX
pipe and interface to prevent mistake during installation.
•Seal the pulled out oil pipe and joint with a bonnet to FR
prevent the foreign body from getting into the
steering system. ST

b. Remove the ring clamp of the hose which connects the
oil return hose of the steering fluid tank with the oil BR
return steel tube assembly. Pull out the oil return hose
from the steering fluid tank.

c. Remove the ring clamp of the oil suction hose to the
power steering pump. Pull out the oil suction hose from
the power steering pump.

3. Removing the high pressure hose from the power
steering pump
a. Remove the locking nut for the high pressure hose of
the power steering pump. Disconnect the high pressure
hose from the oil pump.
