Change DI
Caution
• For a new steering gear, the steering fluid should be replaced after 2500 km mileage; and at the same
time the filter inside the fluid tank needs cleaning. After that, the steering fluid should be replaced and EG
the filter should be cleaned after each 50000 km mileage (or a year).
• Check the hydraulic fluid once a month check to see if the amount of the fluid decreased, if it is degraded or TR
has too much impurities in it. Adding or replacing the steering fluid accordingly if any imperfection is found.

ST
Warning
When draining the steering fluid, the engine shall be
stopped before disassembling the tube connectors in BR
the system. Since the power steering oil pump is
at work status when engine is running, high oil BW
pressures exist in the tubes that may lead splash of the
fluid, causing unnecessary troubles. EL
c. Remove the ring clamp on the hose that connects the
oil return hose of the steering fluid tank with the oil
return steel tube assembly. Pull out the oil return hose.
d. Insert the oil return hose into the oil sump tank to drain
the steering oil from the steering fluid tank into the oil
sump tank.
e. Connect a rubber tube to the connector of the oil return tube
and insert the other end of the rubber tube into the oil sump tank.
f. Start the engine, and keep it running at idle speed no
longer than 15s to drain the steering fluid.
g. Rotate the steering wheel to its left and right limit
positions individually for several times until that no
steering fluid flows out.
Caution
The steering wheel shall not exceed 5s at the limit to
prevent breaking the steering device
