BR-88 Brake system – service brake (air pressure)

Front Wheel Brake

Change
1. Remove the front wheel's hub (see Change, Front Wheel Hubs, Front Axle, Front Axle/Front Drive
Axle, Chapter AX Axles and Transmission Shafts).
2. Remove the front brake shoe (see Check and Repair, Front Brake Shoes, Service Brake (Pneumatic),
Chapter BR Brake System).
3. Remove the front wheel speed sensor (see Change, Wheel Speed Sensors, Service Brake (Pneumatic),
Chapter BR Brake System).
4. Remove the front brake air chamber (see Check and Repair Front Brake Air Chamber Service
Brake (Pneumatic), Chapter BR Brake System).
5. Dismount the braking camshaft

a. Dismount the fixing bolt of adjusting arm support

b. Remove the brake adjusting arm's fixing bolts and
remove the adjusting arm and washer.

c. Take out the braking camshaft and spacer bushing.

6. Dismount the braking plate

a. Remove the steering arm's slotted nut, take out the
fixing bolt, and remove the steering arm.
