8. Install the braking plate

a. Install the mudguard on the braking plate. Install the

fixing bolt and tighten it.
Torque: 35~45N•m EG

b. Install the brake bottom plate assembly onto the

steering knuckle. Install is fixing bolts and the bolts of
the steering arm.
Torque: 180-240N•m ST

c. Install the steering arm and slotted nut, tighten the nut,
and install the split pin to lock it. EL

9. Install the braking camshaft

a. Install the brake camshaft and spacer bushing into the
mounting holes in the brake bottom plate and make the
camshaft in the horizontal position.

b. Install the front brake shoes (see Check and Repair, Front Brake Shoes, Service Brake (Pneumatic), Chapter
BR Brake System).
