BR-96 Brake system – service brake (air pressure)

c. Install the brake bottom plate assembly onto the rear
axle. Install the ABS support and its fixing bolts and
tighten them.
Torque: 240~280N•m

9. Install the braking camshaft

a. Install the braking camshaft's O-ring.
b. Install the brake camshaft and spacer bushing into the
mounting holes in the brake bottom plate and make the
camshaft in the horizontal position.

c. Install the rear brake shoes (see Check and Repair, Rear Brake Shoes, Service Brake (Pneumatic), Chapter
BR Brake System).
d. Install the adjusting arm and gasket.

e. Install the adjusting arm's fixing split pin and lock it.

f. Install the adjusting arm support fixing bolts.

10. Install the rear brake air chamber (see Check and Repair, Front Brake Air Chamber, Service Brake
(Pneumatic), Chapter BR Brake System).
11. Install the rear wheel speed sensor (see Change, Wheel Speed Sensors, Service Brake (Pneumatic),
Chapter BR Brake System).
12. Install the rear wheel's hub (see Change, Front Wheel Hubs, Front Axle, Front Axle/Front Drive
Axle, Chapter AX Axles and Transmission Shafts).

13. Adjust the braking clearance
