1. Remove the shift level guard

a. Unscrew the locknut of transmission control mechanism
handle ball and screw off the handle ball assembly. EG

b. Take off the transmission control rod guard.

2. Install the shift lever shield EL

a. Install the hand brake valve bushing and the shift lever
shield.

b. Install the handle ball assembly, and install and tighten
the handle ball lock nut.
