Safety belt
Overview
The seatbelt is the most important safety protection device for driver or passengers. The seatbelt can greatly
reduce the impact on passengers in the passenger compartment in case of frontal collision, rear collision, side
collision and overturning. The seatbelt has self locking function. This function can be activated when the
seatbelt is completely pulled out from the retractor and can prevent that the seatbelt extension range is beyond
the defined limit position.
This function can be canceled when the seatbelt is allowed to be fully retracted into the retractor. After this
function is canceled, the seatbelt will be released and can be pulled out from the retractor.

Precautions
1. Always replace all damaged seatbelt system parts (including web, retractor, lock buckle, lock tongue,
bolts, nuts, etc.).
2. Even if the seatbelt is not used in case of the collision, it should be inspected carefully. If there is any
damage, breakafe or improper operation, must replace it with a new one.

3. If the seatbelt warning indicator can not be turned off, must inspect the seatbelt system.
4. Do not insert any foreign object into the seatbelt buckle nor modify or remove the seatbelt.
5. When the seatbelt is dirty, must clean it with a neutral detergent. Do not use caustics, dyes, dry
cleaners, or other cleaning agents, otherwise the seatbelt strength may be seriously affected.

6. Web performance requirements: Its surface should be clean, smooth, and good feel, the web should
be uniform, no spots, cracks, flashes, burrs and other defects.

7. Retractor performance requirements: It should be retracted automatically and freely at the
installation angle.
8. Adjustment part performance requirements: The adjustment par should be easy to adjust, and the
adjusted web should not be loosened automatically and should be locked safely and reliably.

9. Seatbelt buckle lock performance requirements: The lock tongue should be insetted and released in
place obviously; the lock tongue should not be released automatically and the assembly should not be
invalidated.
