7. Check evaporator assembly if following failures are present, replace it when necessary. IN
a. Cracks occur on the core of A/C evaporator assembly.
b. Refrigerant leaks from the core of A/C evaporator assembly. DI
c. Abnormal sound is heard from the A/C evaporator assembly.

8. Installing the evaporator assembly

a. Put the evaporator into the correct place inside the

evaporation case assembly.

b. Tighten the fixing screws for the evaporator

9. Install the evaporation case assembly ST
a. Put the evaporation case assembly into correct mounting
place. Install the fixing screws for the evaporation case BR
assembly.

10. Install the A/C assembly (refer to “Chapter EL Electrical system - Electrical Component - Warm Air

and A/C, Replacement”)

11. Install the instrument panel assembly (refer to Chapter BW Vehicle body - Instrument Panel,

Combination Instrument, Ashtray - Instrument panel, Replacement”)

12. Fill in refrigerant(refer to Chapter EL electric system-electric parts-heating and AC-refrigerant,
replacement”)
13. Connect the cable of battery negative pole
