EL - 106 Electrical system – electrical components
IN 5. Check the compressor if following failures are present. Replace the compressor if necessary.
a. Abnormal sound is heard from the back cover of the A/C the compressor assembly.
DI b. The refrigerant leaks from the A/C the compressor assembly.
c. Abnormal sound is heard from A/C the compressor assembly.
EG 6. Installing the compressor
a. Install the compressor assembly, tighten the compressor
TR fixing bolts.
b. Connect the plug & socket connector of the compressor.

c. Mount the compressor belt, rotate the belt tension

pulley with the wrench to tension the compressor belt.
Tighten the compressor fixing bolts.

d. Install the fixing bolts for compressor high and low tubes.
Caution
● Check if sufficient refrigeration oil has been added
into the new compressor.
● The O-rings on the connection ports of A/C tubings
shall be replaced with new ones and shall be socked with
refrigeration oil.
7. Fill in refrigerant(refer to Chapter EL electric system-electric parts-heating and AC-refrigerant,
replacement”)
8. Startup the vehicle to its normal work temperature, switch on the A/C, check if the compressor works
properly and if there is no refrigerant leakage.
