Overview
As one of the most important controllers for the vehicle body components, the functions of the vehicle body EG
have been expanded along with the advancement of the vehicle electronic technologies. In addition to the
conventional lamp control, windshield wiper (wash) control, door locking control and other basic functions,

automatic windshield wiper, engine anti-theft and tire pressure monitoring functions have gradually integrated
into this controller, in order to satisfy the increasing requirements on safety and comfortability.

Electrical control units are more frequently used in vehicles. The data communication between various
electronic devices is boosting. At the same time, due to extensively use of these discrete modules, problems
such as cost rising, failure rate increasing and complex wiring also emerge while improving the comfortability. FR
Therefore, it is necessary to design powerful control modules to realize the functions of those discrete
controllers to control a number of electrical appliances.

Precautions

1. Before activate the ignition switch, make sure that gear shaft handle is at Neutral position and the

hand brake is engaged.
2. During maintenance, it is required to use triangular wooden blocks or wedges to fix the wheels by
BW
placing them closely before and behind the tires. It is preferable to fix the rear wheels of both sides.
3. When performing on-board test of the ignition switch, the clutch pedal must be stepped on.

4. Inquire the version identification of software and hardware of electric control system through the
diagnosis instrument
