EL - 240 Electrical system –circuit
IN System description:
When the ignition switch is put into ON/ST position. The current flows to the pin 85 of the IG1 relay R10 in
DI the instrument panel fuse box then it goes through the coil and is earthed at pin 86 of the R10. The coil is
powered up to generate magnetic field that that makes the contracts closed. The battery current flows through
the fuse F\L3 in the vehicle frame fuse box and fuse F05 in the instrument panel fuse box, then to the pin 30
EG
of the IG1 relay R10. After passing the contacts, it is output from the pin 87, goes through the fuse F04 in the
vehicle frame fuse box to the pin 30 of the exhaust brake relay R11; Turn the windshield wiper combination
TR switch handle into exhaust brake switch position, then exhaust brake switch signal is sent to the engine ECU
module. Under control of the engine ECU module, the coil of the exhaust brake relay R11 is powered up and
the contacts are closed. Then the current flows to the pin 1 of the exhaust brake solenoid valve F023, and is
AX
earthed at the pin 2 of the exhaust brake solenoid valve. The exhaust brake solenoid valve now starts to work
and the exhaust indication signal is sent to the combination instrument via CAN communication wires.
