EG - 10 Engine section – Engine (Cummins ISF3.8)

Torque requirement

Tighten the part N•m

Fixing bolt of bonding wire harness of engine 30~36

Fixing bolt of tensioning wheel 65~78

Fixing bolt of cylinder head cover 9~12

Direct-push semi fixing bolt of camshaft 24
Fixing bolt of camshaft gear wheel 36

Fixing bolt of crankcase breather plate 36

Fixing bolt of air compressor 78~104
Step 1: 70N•m

Step 2: loosen 180 °
Cylinder cover bolt Step 3: 60N•m
Step 4: repeat 60N•m torque, turn the bolt in
90 °clockwise and turn the bolt in 90 °clockwise again
Step 1: 30N•m
Fixing bolt of connecting rod bearing cover Step 2: 60N•m

Step 3: turn in 60 ° clockwise
Flywheel fixing bolt 110~130

Step 1: 30N•m
Fixing bolt of main bearing cover Step 2: 80N•m
Step 3: turn the bolt in 90°

New main bearing bolts
Step 1: 120N•m
Step 2: completely release
Fixing bolt of new main bearing cover
Step 3: 60N•m
Step 4: 85N•m
Step 5: turn in 120 °

M12 85
Fixing bolt of flywheel cover
M10 49
Step 1: 30N•m
Flywheel fixing bolt
Step2: turn in 90° again

M10(8.8) Fixing bolt of engine fan M10(8.8) 41~51

Joint of power suspension support and frame M12(10.9) 98~115
